Job summary

Century Supply Chain Solutions seeks a Customer Tech Delivery Specialist to bridge customer-facing and IT teams. You will turn requests into build-ready specs, troubleshoot the supply chain platform and test solutions before and after release.

Based in Glen Allen, VA but open to applicants in any location, you will work with cross-functional teams, use AI tools responsibly, and help document solutions and training materials while ensuring data privacy and security.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical analyst, business analyst, application support or similar role.
• Ability to turn business needs into clear written requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Working knowledge of SQL and data analysis for troubleshooting and validation.
• Familiarity with databases and software code structure include SQL
• Familiarity with data exchange formats such as X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON or delimited files.
• Experience testing software and documenting results, plus comfort using tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with a courteous, responsive approach to customers and colleagues.
• Sound judgment in prioritizing work and escalating risks, commitment to data privacy and security.
• Willingness to use AI tools responsibly, following privacy policies.

Responsibilities

• Review requests for new features, reports, data interfaces and configuration changes; confirm problem scope and priority.
• Translate business requirements into development tasks in Jira with acceptance criteria and test scenarios.
• Provide effort estimates and input for cost-benefit analyses and statements of work.
• Investigate issues with the platform, data interfaces and reports; identify root causes and fixes to prevent recurrence.
• Analyze and troubleshoot customer data exchanges (X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON, delimited files).
• Use SQL and data analysis to validate data and answer questions from customers and teams.
• Plan and run feature, integration and UAT testing; document results in Jira/Confluence.
• Leverage approved AI tools to speed up work and improve accuracy; ensure outputs are verified.
• Collaborate with account management, support, implementation, operations and product teams; update requesters.
• Document solutions in the team knowledge base and share with colleagues and training teams.
