Job summary

Century Supply Chain Solutions is seeking a Customer Tech Delivery Specialist to bridge customer teams with IT. You’ll translate business needs into build-ready requirements, configure our supply chain software, and validate solutions before release.

The role sits in Glen Allen, VA, with options for applicants nationwide. You’ll draft development tasks in Jira, provide effort estimates, and ensure accurate data exchanges.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical analyst or business analyst role with enterprise software.
• Ability to turn business needs into clear written requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Working knowledge of SQL and data analysis for troubleshooting and validation.
• Familiarity with data exchange formats such as X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON or delimited files.
• Experience testing software and documenting results, plus comfort using Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Review requests for new features, reports, data interfaces and configuration changes with clear business justification.
• Translate requirements into Jira tasks with acceptance criteria and test scenarios.
• Provide estimates and input for cost-benefit analyses and statements of work.
• Investigate issues in the transport and SCM platform and propose fixes to prevent recurrence.
• Analyze data exchanges (X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON) and write interface specifications.
• Use SQL to research issues and validate data.
• Plan and run testing, document results in Jira/Confluence.
• Leverage AI tools for requirements writing and data tasks while ensuring accuracy.
