Job summary

ADM Carbohydrate Solutions is hiring a Customer Support Specialist in Decatur, IL. You will serve as the first line of contact for customers, handling orders and inquiries with a focus on reliability and positive relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Experience in customer support or service roles preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Create excellent relationships with customers and respond to their needs.
• Obtain working knowledge of ADM products.
• Learn ADM systems used in order processing and customer management.
• Process customer orders, inquiries, and/or complaints within 24-48 hrs.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations and other teams to ensure on-time delivery and accurate documentation.
• Maintain electronic customer files with contact details and special instructions.
• Log case details in ADM systems for transparency and follow-up.
• Assist with accounts receivable efforts as needed.
• Review reports for delivery and invoicing accuracy.
• Prepare general business correspondence.
• Coordinate other functions as needed.
