Job summary

ADM Carbohydrate Solutions is seeking a Customer Support Representative in Decatur, IL. This full-time, nonexempt role involves delivering world-class customer support for shipments, maintaining strong relationships with customers, and collaborating with Sales, Operations, and other ADM teams to ensure on-time delivery and accurate documentation.

The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, able to process orders and inquiries quickly, and adept with ADM systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or previous customer support experience preferred.
• Experience with internal systems (contract, order, inventory, AR) preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication required.
• Service-oriented mindset toward internal and external customers.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to change.
• Attention to detail and keyboarding skills.

Responsibilities

• Create excellent relationships with customers and be responsive to their needs.
• Obtain strong working knowledge of ADM products and systems.
• Process customer orders, inquiries, and/or complaints within 24-48 hrs of receipt.
• Coordinate with internal and external colleagues to confirm on-time delivery and accurate documentation.
• Maintain electronic customer files containing customer contact detail and instructions.
• Log pertinent case detail within ADM systems for transparency.
• Assist with accounts receivable efforts.
• Review reports to confirm delivery and invoicing.
• Prepare general business correspondence.
• Coordinate other functions as needed.
