Job summary

Final Mile in Oak Brook, IL is seeking a Customer Service Representative to provide phone-based support for customers and delivery teams. You will handle inbound and outbound calls, answer questions, provide order updates and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.

The role involves documenting interactions, updating orders in systems, and following up with customers. Multiple shifts available with pay ranging from $16 to $18 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous call center or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service, problem-solving and active listening abilities.
• Comfortable handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls.
• Ability to multitask while navigating multiple computer systems.
• Detail-oriented and organized with dependable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from customers and delivery teams in a professional manner.
• Make outbound calls regarding orders, deliveries, service issues and follow-up.
• Assist delivery teams to resolve delivery-related challenges.
• Provide order and delivery updates to customers and document interactions.
• Research and resolve customer issues or escalate when needed.
• Monitor delivery progress and communicate delays to customers and teams.
• Respond to customer and internal emails promptly and professionally.
• Complete required daily reports and administrative tasks.
