Job summary

UniFirst Corporation is seeking a Customer Service Representative to handle inbound/outbound inquiries by phone and email, perform data entry, and process customer returns. The role requires professionalism, accuracy, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment with potential overtime and coverage for receptionist duties.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, confidential information handling, and participation in plant-wide safety activities.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1+ years related experience and/or training in customer service.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.
• Experience with AS400 System beneficial.
• Must possess the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret written instruction.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound/outbound inquiries via phone and email professionally.
• Excellent data entry skills required.
• Process customer returns into inventory accurately.
• Troubleshoot and respond to customers promptly.
• Be dependable and flexible in a changing environment.
• Provide coverage for receptionist on an intermittent basis.
• Prioritize, stay detail oriented and work well in a team.
• Overtime may be required as necessary.
• Overtime may be announced with short notice.
• Maintain confidential information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Participate in plant-wide safety activities.
• Occasionally enter production area and use PPE as required.
