Job summary

Maine Oxy, a provider of specialty gases, is hiring a Customer Service Representative to support sales, orders, and vendor relations in the Auburn region. You will assist with data maintenance, credit memos, and account setup while collaborating with field sales and other departments to ensure smooth deliveries.

The role emphasizes customer interaction, problem resolution, and opportunities for expanding responsibilities within sales and operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in marketing or business preferred.
• Minimum two years of call center customer service or inside sales experience preferred.
• Experience using an automated order entry/inventory system.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming telephone and email inquiries from customers and vendors.
• Expedite Maine Oxy purchase orders and inventory/stock requests.
• Collect payments and report to daily paperwork.
• Greet guests and direct them to the proper channels.
• Data entry for customer orders, pricing, and credits.
• Set up and maintain Cash on Delivery accounts.
• Coordinate with sales, branches, and other departments for timely communication.
• Research products with vendors for price and availability.
• Identify and resolve order delivery issues and opportunities.
