Job summary

Airgas in North Attleboro, MA is hiring a Customer Service Representative to provide collaborative support for all phases of order fulfillment, primarily by telephone. You will cultivate long-term customer partnerships and assist with sales, order entry, pricing alignment, and data maintenance for existing accounts.

Essential duties include handling inquiries via phone/email, supporting deliveries, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior Customer Service / Inside Sales experience.
• Hands-on proficiency with SAP (preferred).
• Google Workspace/Google Platform experience.
• Attention to detail with billing, inventory, and invoicing.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Able to prioritize and work in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-quality customer service via telephone, email, fax or in person across order fulfilment for gases and related products.
• Answer inbound inquiries and facilitate customer orders and pricing alignment.
• Coordinate with sales, customers, branches and internal departments for deliveries.
• Perform data entry for sales and new account setup; maintain existing customer accounts.
• Research pricing and product availability with vendors to support customers.
• Resolve billing questions, order status, cylinder balances and delivery timing.
• Foster customer satisfaction and participate in special projects as needed.
