Qualifications

• 4-year degree preferred but not required with adequate experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a sales-related environment (e.g.: customer service, outside/inside sales, technical sales, purchasing, etc.)
• Industrial experience required
• Distribution experience preferred
• Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced business

Responsibilities

• Communicate expected delivery dates and tracking information to customers and internal teams.
• Proactively implement solutions and share status updates to meet on-time delivery and quality metrics.
• Meet all internal customer SLAs.
• Use analytical skills to convert customer data into insights.
• Build and maintain strong customer and internal department relationships.
• Support outside sales with a dedicated customer base.
• Respond to internal requests promptly and resolve issues with solutions.
• Manage quotes, orders, and customer data entry into ERP systems.
• Identify prospects in the assigned territory to support sales initiatives.
• Perform outbound follow-up on new leads.
• Identify customer needs and offer optimal solutions via company services/products.
