Job summary

Schnucks is seeking a store supervisor to lead Center Store operations, drive customer service and ensure store conditions meet high standards. The role focuses on coaching teammates, optimizing inventory and executing merchandising initiatives in a fast-paced grocery environment.

You will supervise staff, coordinate with marketing and scheduling systems, and work to achieve financial goals while maintaining integrity and teamwork across the store.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High school diploma, degree, or relevant work experience considered.
• Knowledge of Center Store policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Ability to plan and execute merchandising excellence.
• Ability to coach, develop and inspire others.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and maintain store conditions, including merchandising, in stock/ordering, freshness, cleanliness, and TIL reducing initiatives.
• Schedule and supervise department staff.
• Manage inventory levels and optimize productive inventory.
• Facilitate training and skill development of Center Store teammates.
• Coordinate marketing, sales, and advertising programs including price changes and signage.
• Identify areas of opportunity to achieve the department’s financial plan.
