Job summary

Hy-Vee Inc is seeking a Courtesy Clerk to support customers from the register to their vehicle, keep the store clean, stocked, and welcoming. The role involves bagging, assisting customers, stocking, and general store upkeep.

No education or prior experience is required; comprehensive training will be provided. You’ll stand and move throughout shifts, and you’ll work as part of a team to ensure a positive shopping environment.

Qualifications

• No education or experience requirements; we will provide all the training you need to succeed.
• Frequently stand and walk throughout a shift; ability to lift/move merchandise as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and provide prompt, friendly service.
• Package purchases and assist customers to transport them to their vehicle.
• Restock shelves, rotate merchandise, and maintain clean stores and front end areas.
• Help train new courtesy clerks and assist in other departments as needed.
• Maintain personal hygiene and adhere toHy-Vee policies and store guidelines.
