Job summary

Hy-Vee Inc is seeking a Courtesy Clerk to support customers from the register to their vehicle and keep the store clean and welcoming. You will assist with packaging purchases, stocking shelves, and maintaining a tidy front end and backroom.

Training is provided, no formal education required, and you’ll work as part of a team to ensure a positive shopping experience. In this hourly role, you’ll engage customers, help cart and bag items, and support multiple store areas while upholding Hy-Vee

• Ability to follow instructions and work with a team to keep the store inviting.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service and greet customers with a smile.
• Package purchases and assist in transporting them to vehicles.
• Stock, face, rotate merchandise, and maintain clean shelves and backroom.
• Keep registers, restrooms, break room, and front areas clean and orderly.
• Assist in other areas as needed and participate in special projects.
