Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Courtesy Clerk to greet customers, bag purchases, return carts, and keep the store clean and welcoming. You’ll help at the register area, stock shelves, and assist in other departments as needed. No education or previous experience required; we provide all training.

This role is active, physical, and relies on teamwork to deliver a great customer experience every day. Applicants must be reliable, able to stand for long periods, and willing to follow store policies and safety

Qualifications

• No formal education or experience required; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and provide friendly service.
• Bag purchases and assist customers to their vehicle when needed.
• Bring in and organize shopping carts and maintain store cleanliness.
• Stock, face, and rotate merchandise; check shelf tags and prices.
• Assist in other departments and train new courtesy clerks as needed.
