Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to help with daily store operations, from merchandising to assisting customers. You will be cross-trained to support the cash register and front-end duties as needed.

The role emphasizes a clean, welcoming environment, strong customer service, and safe practices, with opportunities to grow within a nationwide retailer and participate in comprehensive benefits and training programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs from floor to shoulder height with frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely per productivity standards.
• Merchandise and stock as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness, bathrooms, and floors, ensuring neat presentation.
• Interact with customers, associates, and leaders in a positive, respectful manner.
• Process sales transactions at the assigned cash register and protect cash and assets.
