Job summary

Big Lots is seeking motivated individuals to support our Stores as we provide essential products at great values to the communities we serve. As a Big Lots Customer Service Associate you will greet customers, assist with merchandise, and complete transactions with accuracy.

You will also help unload trucks, stock shelves, and maintain a clean, safe shopping environment while supporting store operations and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused individual able to greet customers and assist with selection
• Able to operate POS and handle monetary transactions
• Flexible, friendly, and reliable in a retail setting
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform routine stockroom tasks
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Provides customer engagement in a positive and approachable manner
• Maintains a clean, well-stocked store for customers
• Unloads merchandise from delivery trucks and transfers to sales floor
• Stocks shelves and recovers merchandise
• Handles customer funds and processes transactions using the POS system
• Maintains store safety and security
• Performs other duties as assigned to support store operations
