Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a friendly Customer Service Representative in Dayton, Ohio. You will be the face of our service, assisting customers with U-Haul products, using U-Scan to manage rentals, and inspecting equipment on the lot.

You may also assist with hitch installations and forklift-related tasks as part of on-the-job training. The role offers on-the-job education, a fast-paced team environment, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and friendly demeanor.
• Good communication, listening, and problem solving abilities.
• Small- to mid-sized equipment inventory knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including fluids.
• Prepare rental invoices and process returns of equipment.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring where qualified.
