Job summary

U-Haul in Dayton, OH is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service team. You will assist customers with rentals, inspect equipment, and help ensure a smooth journey for every customer.

You will use smartphone-based U-Scan tech to manage inventories, move and hook up trucks, and participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University. This on-site role offers hands-on training and a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and maintain equipment on the lot, including fluid checks.
• Answer questions and educate customers on products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and process returns.
• Assist with hitch installations and trailer wiring.
• Complete certification trainings through U-Haul University.
