Job summary

Texas Materials is seeking a Customer Service Representative based in Baytown to serve as the main contact for customers, sales teams, dispatch, and operations. You will provide outstanding service, process orders accurately, and coordinate deliveries in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail oriented, and capable of building positive relationships across departments while following safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of customer service, administrative support, or inside sales experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Process customer orders and enter information accurately into company systems.
• Coordinate with dispatch, plant operations, and sales teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, delivery status, and account information.
• Resolve customer concerns and elevate complex issues as needed.
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
• Assist with billing inquiries, order corrections, and account maintenance.
• Generate reports and support administrative tasks as assigned.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.
