Job summary

Porvair Filtration Group in Ashland, VA is seeking a Customer Service Representative I to provide frontline support to customers via phone, email, and other channels, handling inquiries, quotes, orders, and status updates.

You will collaborate with Sales, Production, and Shipping to resolve issues, maintain CRM records, and uphold QMS standards while delivering high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; customer service experience a plus.
• Proven experience in customer service, preferably in manufacturing.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficient with ERP systems, Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers via phone, email, and other channels; respond promptly and professionally.
• Assist customers with product information, quotes, orders, and status updates.
• Build and maintain relationships to understand needs and concerns.
• Process orders, track shipments, and ensure timely fulfillment.
• Resolve issues, escalate where needed, and document outcomes.
• Provide detailed product information and usage guidance.
• Maintain CRM records and coordinate with Sales, Production, and Shipping.
• Gather customer feedback to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Adhere to QMS requirements to meet company standards.
