Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate who welcomes customers, helps them find products and services, and delivers friendly, professional service across departments.

You’ll assist with locating merchandise, stocking, processing orders, and guiding customers through checkout, while adapting to daily needs and store priorities. The role emphasizes customer interaction, problem-solving, and teamwork, with opportunities to learn trade skills and advance within a large home

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Able to stand for long periods and perform duties as required.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock merchandise by identifying empty shelf spaces and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time.
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department (e.g., tint/mix paint, cut threads, cut/bundle wood).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
