Job summary

Kirby Risk Electrical Supply in Champaign, IL is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support customers, vendors, and branch operations. You will help ensure orders are accurate and products are available when needed while delivering exceptional service.

The role emphasizes collaboration with sales, coordination with vendors, and participation in promotions, training, and branch initiatives to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
• Detail-oriented with solid organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience in business-to-business sales or electrical distribution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive customer service by phone, email, at the counter, and through order processing.
• Partner with outside sales representatives to support customer accounts and identify solutions.
• Coordinate with vendors to help ensure products are delivered accurately and on schedule.
• Assist with product promotions, training opportunities, and other branch initiatives.
• Support daily branch operations, including: Counter and Inside Sales, Warehousing and Inventory Management, Vendor and Customer Communications, Order Entry and Product Support.
