Kirby Risk Electrical Supply in Bloomington, IL is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the trusted resource for customers, handling inquiries, orders, and delivery coordination. You’ll join a team that values accuracy, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence.

You’ll work to exceed customer expectations, partner with outside sales, coordinate with vendors, and support marketing initiatives while maintaining strong warehouse and delivery responsibilities.

Qualifications

• College coursework and/or 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Quick learner who’s eager to grow and apply new knowledge.
• Experience in business-to-business sales or electrical distribution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service—exceeding expectations and honoring every commitment.

• Support corporate marketing efforts such as product launches and training events.

What You’ll Do As a Customer Service Representative

In this multi-faceted role, you’ll be the go-to contact for customer needs, providing top-tier support and ensuring every interaction reflects the Kirby Risk standard of service.

You’ll

What To Expect In This Role

• Ability to lift, push, pull, carry up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license required
• Comfort with multi-line phone systems and warehouse operations
• Experience with inventory management and loading/unloading shipments
• Forklift experience a plus
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm, with overtime as needed
