Job summary

Summit Electric Supply, part of the Sonepar group, is seeking a Customer Service Representative II to support customers via phone, email, web, or in person. You will collaborate with the Service Center sales team to ensure excellent service and accurate orders.

The role emphasizes understanding products, pricing, warranties, and supplier relations, while building strong customer relationships and providing effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Time management - ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Flexibility - ability to effectively adapt to change.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers over the phone, internet, email or in person with orders, quotations, and product questions.
• Develop new and existing customer relationships by providing Summit solutions and products.
• Negotiate pricing with customers and suppliers.
• Proactively follow up on customer orders, challenges, and needs.
• Resolve customer concerns and issues as efficiently as possible.
• Assist counter and warehouse staff as needed.
