Job summary

Richelieu Hardware Ltd, a leading North American distributor of specialty hardware, is seeking a Customer Service Representative in North Reading, MA. This full-time role supports order processing, showroom inquiries, and sales quotes, Monday through Friday dayshift.

You will assist customers, collaborate with outside sales, research product solutions, and ensure high levels of service and accuracy. Proficiency with MS Office and a background in cabinetry or building materials are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar customer service role.
• Knowledge of cabinetry, kitchen & bath or building materials.
• Strong customer service, problem-solving and project management skills.
• Team oriented with initiative and drive.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• AS400 experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• High school graduate; some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and verify order information in a timely manner.
• Support showroom customers with questions and order placement.
• Process quotes and collaborate with outside sales reps on orders.
• Solicit new or additional sales by phone and in person.
• Research product solutions to address field-project issues.
• Work with Operations Manager and maintain Monday–Friday dayshift.
