Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments for accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Sort, label, and distribute packages to appropriate departments in a timely manner.
• Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and coordinating carrier pickups (e.g., USPS, FedEx, UPS).
• Maintain accurate records of all shipments using tracking systems and internal platforms (e.g., Workday or inventory systems).
• Provide customer service support by responding to inquiries regarding shipment status, delays, and delivery confirmations.
• Resolve shipping discrepancies, damaged goods, or missing items by coordinating with vendors and internal teams.
• Operate shipping and receiving equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, scanners, and postage machines.
• Ensure all materials are properly documented, received, and entered into the system in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the loading dock and receiving areas.
• Support inventory control by assisting with cycle counts and stock replenishment as needed.
• Follow all safety, compliance, and organizational policies, especially in regulated environments (e.g., healthcare facilities).
• Process daily receipts to clear match exceptions, researching to validate physical receipts.
• Manage the linen request portal by adding/deleting access for students, employees and physicians.
