PostNet in Oak Forest is seeking a friendly, dependable Customer Service and Shipping Associate. You will assist customers with shipping, packaging, mailbox services, and other business needs, using computers and PostNet systems throughout the day.
The role emphasizes customer service, ability to learn new software, and handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting. A high school diploma is required, and experience in shipping centers is a plus.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-service and computer skills.
- Experience in shipping centers or similar customer-service environments preferred.
- Able to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Weekend availability required (Saturday 10:00 AM–2:00 PM).
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, professional service in person, by phone, and by email.
- Process shipments through UPS, FedEx, DHL, and USPS.
- Help customers select shipping, packaging, and service options.
- Professionally pack items for shipment and maintain neat work areas.
- Receive and distribute mail for mailbox customers and assist with PostNet services.
- Accurately process orders and payments and learn carrier requirements.
