Job summary
PostNet in Oak Forest, Houston, is seeking a friendly, dependable Customer Service and Shipping Associate to join our team. You will help customers with shipping, packaging, mailbox services, and other business needs, guiding them to choose options and solutions that fit their requirements.
The ideal candidate has strong customer service and computer skills, enjoys working with people, and is comfortable learning new systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent customer-service and communication.
- Comfortable with computers and learning new software.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, professional service to customers in person, by phone, and by email.
- Process shipments through UPS, FedEx, DHL, and USPS.
- Help customers select appropriate shipping, packaging, and service options.
- Professionally pack customer items for shipment.
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages for mailbox customers.
- Assist customers with mailbox and other PostNet services.
- Recommend products and services based on customer needs.
- Accurately process customer orders and payments.
- Learn and follow carrier requirements and PostNet operating procedures.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional center.
