Job summary

CarMax is hiring a Customer Operator in Virginia Beach to deliver exceptional customer service and support the Service Department both in person and over the phone. You will assist Service Consultants, schedule appointments, and ensure accurate records while maintaining a positive, fast-paced work environment.

The role requires strong communication skills, multitasking ability, and reliable availability including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming service calls promptly and professionally.
• Assist Service Consultants and Customer Advisors to ensure smooth customer experiences.
• Schedule service appointments and route calls with clear, helpful responses.
• Make reminder calls for upcoming appointments and follow up on special-order parts.
• Contact customers with repair requests to schedule appointments and maintain records.
• Audit sublet invoices and monitor loaner logs for compliance with guidelines.
• Follow EH&S requirements and keep a clean work area.
