Job summary

ThompsonGas is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Waynesboro, GA to support customer retention, new customer acquisition and support. The role involves handling inbound/outbound calls, data entry, and providing high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

This onsite position requires a degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years of customer service, and sales aptitude. Perks include medical, dental, vision, 401k and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years of Customer Service experience (Call center experience preferred).
• Sales experience strongly preferred; ability to upsell products in a highly competitive environment.
• Experience with CARGAS and MPX systems preferred, but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with customers.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls and outbound sales and customer support.
• Update and maintain customer information in systems.
• Address customer inquiries including pricing, billing, products and new account setup.
• Provide timely and accurate information on order status.
