Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Delaware & Delaware County, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to support sales floor operations, handle POS transactions, and assist with donations. The role emphasizes safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork in a busy retail environment.

Preferred candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months of related experience or training. Flexibility with hours is a plus; PPE is provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 months of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies ensuring security and protection of customers and assets.
• Perform POS transactions and handle cash drawer funds accurately.
• Display and stock merchandise by department; maintain cleanliness of sales floor and areas.
• Assist in production areas including textiles, WEB, and ASH; help with donations.
• Adhere to Goodwill policies and SOPs; cooperate with staff and customers to support the mission.
• Provide maximum customer satisfaction and support diverse groups, coworkers, and customers.
• Work varied hours/days as needed; perform other duties such as cleaning and recovery.
