Job summary

State Farm Insurance Agency in Chicago is seeking an Insurance Licensed Customer Service Rep to support existing clients and grow the business through meaningful relationship conversations.

The role involves inbound and outbound contact, policy reviews, cross-selling, and timely quotes, with licensing guidance provided if needed. Office hours are Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Illinois licenses required or obtainable with our guidance.

Qualifications

• Illinois Property & Casualty and Life & Health Insurance Licenses required or able to acquire ASAP.
• Insurance agency knowledge and experience helpful.
• Strong communication skills (verbal + written) and persuasive customer conversations.
• Friendly, empathetic, and patient relationship-builder.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers for renewals, coverage options, and ongoing support
• Review policies/accounts and recommend updates to address coverage gaps
• Cross-sell additional products based on customer needs
• Identify opportunities to improve satisfaction and engagement
• Provide timely quotes and follow up within the same business day when possible
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
• Prioritize and manage workflow to ensure efficient, accurate processing
• Represent the agency at occasional community events
• Build a referral network and generate leads
• Create and contribute to customer reviews (including social media)

With 30+ years of established service, our State Farm Insurance Agency is seeking an Insurance Licensed Customer Service Rep - State Farm Agent Team Membe r to support existing customers and grow the business through meaningful relationship conversations.

This role involves inbound and outbound customer contact, outreach, relationship maintenance, and proactive conversations to drive retention and additional sales.

Licensing: Insurance Producer Licenses are required, though not mandatory—if you don’t have them, we’ll help guide you on how to obtain the necessary licenses.
