Job summary

State Farm Insurance Agency in Chicago seeks an Account Representative-Agent Team Member for an in-office role. You will follow up on quotes, handle inquiries, and build relationships to turn conversations into insurance solutions.

You bring licenses and sales-minded attitude; you will grow the agency through networking, manage records, and participate in community events. Base compensation plus incentives reflects production and performance.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be able to acquire P&C and life/health licenses.
• State Farm or agency experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work with phone and computer all day.
• Strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on quotes and customer inquiries quickly to close sales.
• Have confident, needs-based conversations to recommend the right insurance solutions.

• Help grow the agency through community event participation, networking with local professionals, building a referral network “center of influence”
• Use telemarketing and outreach to generate leads and schedule appointments.
• Brand the agency and yourself on social media in a professional, consistent way.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in our database for every customer interaction.
• Manage priorities and workflows to ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions.

We seek an outgoing, motivated, career-oriented Account Representative-Agent Team Member professional for an in-office/in-person position.

Responsibilities

Compensation $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
