Customer Service Representative – Lubbock, TX

We are looking for a friendly, organized customer service representative to support our patients and staff. The role involves scheduling, coordinating appointments, handling patient inquiries, insurance verification, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient scheduling, appointments, and multi‑phone line.
• Gather new patient data and track all patient referrals.
• Disseminate information to patients, acting as a liaison between patients and physicians.
• Send and keep a log of all reports sent to doctors.
• Collect all payments and verify insurance.
• Collect/open mail and distribute it to the proper areas and people.
• Send benefits paperwork to billing companies.
• Answer phones and address any questions from potential or current patients.
• Schedule patients; coordinate evaluations, re‑evaluations, appointment reminders, and cancellations.
• Collect new patient intake information and track all clinic referrals.
• Fax reports to physicians and keep a log of incoming reports.
• Verify insurance coverage and take copayments.
• Communicate with the office manager and clinicians about scheduling and patient arrival.
