Job summary

Olympic Medical Center on the North Olympic Peninsula is seeking a Customer Service Representative for the Heart Center. You will schedule patients, enter data into multiple computer systems, verify insurance coverage, and obtain authorizations for services.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and at least one year of relevant experience. Familiarity with medical terminology and ability to work at all Heart Center locations is preferred.

This position is responsible for daily activities, including but not limited to patient scheduling, timely and accurate entering of data into multiple computer systems, verifying insurance coverage and obtaining authorization for services, preparing charts, faxing and disposition of medical records, readying patients for their visits per department protocols, and assisting with answering phones and patient registration.
