Olympic Medical Center is seeking Patient Access Representatives on site on the North Olympic Peninsula. The role involves direct interaction with patients and families, performing emergency room, outpatient and inpatient registration, and payments collection. You will verify insurance, obtain authorizations, and maintain patient accounts.
One year of health care registration and office experience is preferred. High school diploma required; an Associate’s degree is preferred.

Patient Access Representatives are committed to providing quality customer service and collecting quality data for patients entering OMC. Work directly with patients and their families and perform diversified tasks associated with the emergency room, outpatient and inpatient registration, admissions, collecting of copayments and communications. Discuss financial responsibility with patients, maintain accurate patient account information, verify insurance, obtain authorizations/referrals, and act as a patient ambassador.
High School graduate with Associate’s degree preferred.
One year health care registration preferred. One year office experience preferred.
