Job summary

Highland Rivers Behavioral Health seeks a Customer Service Representative to greet and assist visitors, manage scheduling, and support billing and data entry. The CSR will be based in Floyd County and may travel to other clinics as needed.

Role requires confidentiality, strong communication, and accurate entry into the EHR system. The position is customer-facing and integral to maintaining smooth clinic operations and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Strong communication skills for phone inquiries and scheduling.
• Accurate data entry into the EHR and basic financial handling.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct individuals entering the facility.
• Answer, screen, and process telephone inquiries per policy.
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments.
• Enter client information into the EHR accurately.
• Refer individuals to clinical team for triage when applicable.
• Maintain provider schedules and insurance information.
• Process payments and post to cash sheet.
• Check in/out individuals and complete financial processes.
• Uphold positive team relations and use sound judgment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is the face of Highland Rivers Behavioral Health. The CSR greets and directs individuals as they enter the facility. The CSR is knowledgeable in all programs and services provided at the facility. This position will be based in Floyd County and will travel to other clinics.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Must be customer service oriented
• Promptly answers, screens and processes telephone inquiries with strict adherence to confidentiality and policies and procedures
• Schedule, reschedule and cancel appointments as needed
• Return all telephone messages in a timely manner
• Provides information on HRH programs
• Collects and enters the information of individuals served into the EHR system in a concise, thorough and accurate manner
• If applicable, ensures individuals are referred to the clinical team for triage.
• Responds to irate individuals in a calm and professional manner
• Maintain current and up to date data concerning provider schedules, accepted insurance plans, and any pertinent information
• Scan paper documents in a timely manner.
• Collects all monies due to HRH and posts to Cash Sheet accurately.
• Checks in/out all individuals served in a timely manner.
• Completes the financial process accurately and in a timely manner
• Upholds positive interpersonal relations among all team members.
• Use initiative and good, sound judgment.
• All other duties as assigned
