Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Rx Benefits Associate for a fully remote contract role in the United States. Pay is $19/hr with a M-F training schedule and regular shifts covering Palm Beach Gardens, FL regions.

Starts 11/30/2026, with a potential extension based on performance. Responsibilities include assisting members with discount cards, insurance benefits, and home delivery options, while ensuring accuracy in data entry and CRM updates.

Qualifications

• Empathy and patience when assisting members with health and insurance questions.
• CRM systems experience to log interactions and reviews.
• Accurate data entry and documentation of member conversations.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook; comfortable with multiple screens.
• Reading, speaking, and note-taking simultaneously on calls.
• Ability to learn quickly and stay flexible in a fast-paced setting.

• Assist with prescription price questions and insurance benefits.

• Provide discount cards and inform about home delivery via online pharmacy.

• Verify insurance benefits and pharmacy locations for members.
• Transfer calls to appropriate departments for further support.
• Opt out members from promotional mail upon request.
• Assist pharmacies with claim submission issues and troubleshooting.
• Provide prescription benefit details to members and pharmacies.

Regular Shifts: Range Mon-Sat between 10am-10:30pm

Description

• Addressed member concerns regarding the use of discount cards.
• Responded to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Assisted members with prescription price inquiries and insurance benefit questions.
• Educated members on the benefits and usage of discount cards for prescribed medications.
• Provided members with physical discount cards and information on home delivery options via online pharmacy.
• Helped members elect and understand their medical insurance benefits.
• Verified insurance benefits and pharmacy locations for members.
• Transferred calls to appropriate departments (e.g., dental plans, medical benefits) for further support.
• Opted out members from receiving promotional mail upon request.
• Assisted pharmacies with claim submission issues and troubleshooting.
• Provided prescription benefit details to members and pharmacies.

• Ability to use Microsoft Office products (i.e., Outlook, Teams, etc.) and utilize dual monitors/toggle between systems at the same time
• Must be able to read, speak, and take notes at the same time on a phone call
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment (have to be able to jump right in, learn quickly, and adapt/be flexible)

This is a Contract position based out of Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
