Job summary

Stellar Consulting Solutions, LLC seeks an entry-level Associate Customer Service Representative in Springfield, IL for a 3+ month contract. The role is 100% onsite, handling calls, quotes, and order processing in SAP with support from the Service team.

You will enter orders, coordinate urgent shipments, and assign maintenance work orders via ServiceMax, while maintaining data accuracy and supporting teammates as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience in customer service and data entry.
• Experience with order entry and processing.
• Familiarity with Purchase Orders (PO) is a plus.
• Strong data entry accuracy and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and route to appropriate teams.
• Prepare quotes for aftermarket/service requests.
• Enter customer orders into SAP after PO receipt.
• Coordinate urgent shipments with shipping and warehouse teams.
• Assign service work orders to Field Service Engineers using ServiceMax.
• Process goods receipts for parts/instruments.
• Perform accurate data entry and maintain records in systems.
• Provide general team support when workload is high.

Role: Associate Customer Service Representative

Job Type: 3+Months Contract

Role Overview:

This is an entry-level customer service and order-processing role supporting the Service team. The person will handle phone calls, prepare quotes, enter customer orders into SAP, coordinate urgent shipments, assign service work orders to Field Service Engineers, and perform data entry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer Phone CallsAnswer incoming calls.
• Route calls to the appropriate person/team.
• Provide basic customer support.
• Prepare QuotesCreate quotes for aftermarket/service requests.
• Coordinate with internal teams as needed.
• Order EntryEnter customer orders into SAP after receiving a Purchase Order (PO).
• Ensure order information is entered accurately.
• Urgent Order CoordinationWork with the shipping and warehouse teams to get urgent orders processed and shipped quickly.
• Service Work OrdersUse ServiceMax to assign Planned Maintenance work orders to the appropriate Field Service Engineer.
• Parts/Instrument ReceivingProcess goods receipts when parts or instruments arrive.
• Enter/maintain the required information accurately.
• Team SupportHelp other team members with additional tasks when workload is high.
• Data EntryPerform accurate and timely data entry.
• Maintain records and information in company systems.
