The Specialty Manufacturing Company in White Bear Lake, MN is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role focuses on strengthening client relationships through accurate, timely service and effective cross-functional communication with sales, accounts receivable, production, quality, and shipping.

You will manage the order life cycle in our ERP system, prepare quotes, resolve billing issues, and provide product information.

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in White Bear Lake, MN. The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for enhancing client relationships through accurate and prompt service

Essential Job Duties

• Manage order life cycle through current enterprise resource planning software
• Support sales and business development initiatives.
• Resolve billing issues.
• Prepare and send quotes to customers as well as potential customers.
• Resolve product or service problems, troubleshooting as necessary, and escalating or expediting to ensure a prompt resolution.
• Provide product or service information to existing as well as potential customers.
• Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and update customer records, as necessary.
• Ability to gain knowledge of and understanding of company's products and services.
• Work with price lists, credits, debits, and freight disputes.
• Communicate with internal teams(sales, accounts receivable, production, quality, and shipping) to ensure customer’s requirements are met, and to resolve customer complaints.
• Notify customers of manufacturing delays affecting ship dates.

Qualifications

Education

• Required: High School diploma or GED
• Preferred: Associate or bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field

Experience

• 5+ years general working experience
• 2+ years customer service or sales experience

Preferred Skills

• Strong interpersonal, verbal, problem solving, and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Basic understanding of business math principles.
• Professional proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to diverse types of personalities, and the ability to de-escalate potential upset customers.
• Experience with enterprise resource planning software (Epicor, etc.)

Compensation and Benefits

Expected Compensation Range: Hourly, non-exempt- $23-$30
