What's a typical day as Customer Service Representative? you'll be:
Interacting with customers by responding to inquiries and complaints regarding orders, invoices, shipments, and inventory.
Processing and inputting all customer orders efficiently and accurately.
Producing stock reports and related paperwork for customer work orders.
Coordinating special and last-minute shipping requests with the Traffic and Operations Departments.
Providing follow-up with other departments to ensure service standards are met.
Verifying computer-generated invoices for proper account invoicing.
Preparing shipping information and tracing shipments as needed.
Maintaining damage records, back order logs, and up-to-date account files.
Acting as a liaison between the warehouse, customers, office, and management.
Maintaining accurate procedure manuals for account processing.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
Have a high school diploma or equivalent (required).
Possess strong computer knowledge, including proficiency in MS Office applications.
Demonstrate basic typing skills and familiarity with 10-key.
Have experience using shipping software systems
Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills.
Bring proven customer service skills and a commitment to positive customer experiences.
Are willing and able to work in varying facility conditions.
Can work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and potentially holidays as needed.
