$19.00/hr - $21.43/hr

Russell Tobin's client, an online food ordering company, is hiring a Remote Customer Service Specialist.

Job Title: Customer Service Representative – Remote (Multiple Shifts Available)

Location: Remote (EST)

Duration: 3-4 months

Pay rate: $19 - $21.43 /hr.

Position Type: Temporary, 30 hours/week

Shifts Available:

  • Mon-Fri, 10am-4pm EST
  • Mon-Fri, 4pm-10pm EST
  • Wed-Sun, 10am-4pm EST
  • Wed-Sun, 4pm-10pm EST

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and communicative individual to join our team in a remote customer service role. This is a 30-hour per week position where you will help fulfill customer orders by proactively reaching out to customers and addressing ad-hoc inquiries with empathy and urgency. You will play a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional service experience for our customers.

As part of a small team focused on Live Operations, you will ensure that customer orders are fulfilled accurately, and any issues are resolved in a timely manner. Strong organizational skills, as well as a passion for delivering excellent customer service, are key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively reach out to customers to confirm order preferences and details
  • Address customer issues with empathy and urgency
  • Execute workflows to exceed customer expectations
  • Identify trends and communicate findings to improve processes
  • Collaborate with a team to provide world-class service

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced customer service role (tech, hospitality, or grocery & convenience)
  • Ability to work independently and manage your workload efficiently
  • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly when dealing with undefined issues
  • Fluency in English with above-average technical fluency (typing speed of 40+ WPM)
  • Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to write both formally and casually, reflecting brand tone
  • Familiarity with Google Sheets and G-Suite is a plus
  • Experience with Slack is a bonus
