Job summary

The Dupuy Group in New Orleans, LA is hiring a Customer Service Representative to coordinate import/export of containers arriving by ship, truck, or rail. You will support warehouse teams, manage inbound/outbound orders, and assist customers with inquiries via email or phone.

Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, invoicing records, and training new hires as needed, with a focus on accuracy and timely communication in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/Equivalency; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Office administration experience; logistics experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Office 365, PowerPoint).

• Work within a system to create inbound and outbound orders, along with other various types of services
• Service customers with their needs and be able to resolve problems through email or over the phone in a timely manner.
• Work independently and as a team member
• Coordinate shipping between dispatcher and warehouse schedule
• Keeping up to date with invoicing customers and organizing records
• Monitoring email consistently throughout the day and responding promptly
• Assist with training new hires on team as needed (equipment, software, processes, etc.)

The Dupuy Group is looking to hire a Customer Service Representative for the New Orleans office. The primary responsibility of the CSR is the coordinating the import and export of containers as they arrive by ship, truck, van, or rail. Customer Service Representatives must be knowledgeable of the various types of foods and other materials imported into the warehouse, starting with the receipt of coffee, storage, possible upgrading processes, and shipping to the customer.
