Job summary

Us Med-Equip in Louisiana is seeking a Delivery Technician/Customer Service Representative to load, transport and deliver medical equipment to hospital partners. You will work with operations and the sales team to ensure timely, compliant deliveries and high-quality service.

This role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. You will coordinate with the local sales team, participate in planning and training, and adhere to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, and transport life-saving medical equipment to healthcare institutions.
• Safely drive and maintain company vehicles.
• Assist in servicing, shipping, and receiving equipment at the branch warehouse.
• Provide professional customer service to hospital contacts and respond to equipment needs.
• Maintain professional appearance and wear the company uniform.
• Follow the operations process and quality management standards.
• Coordinate daily with local sales and team on orders and deliveries.
• Participate in business planning and professional development sessions.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

• Carefully load, secure, and transport life-saving medical equipment and supplies to support clinicians in healthcare institutions
• Safely drive and maintain company vehicles
• Help service, ship, and receive equipment in branch warehouse
• Provide professional customer service to hospital contacts, listening and responding to their patient and equipment needs
• Maintain a neat appearance, including wearing a company uniform
• Adhere to the operations process, including quality management system standards
• Coordinate daily with local sales representative and other company team members on equipment orders and delivery, planning and support to healthcare partners
• Participate in business planning and professional development sessions
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications: Preferred Education

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record for the past 3 years

• Ability to provide excellent customer service to professionals in the healthcare industry
• Ability to use our company portal daily to manage equipment maintenance orders and deliveries
• Ability to work multiple shifts, including on-call as needed
• Able to read and write in English and perform math calculations
• Able to work unsupervised
