Job summary

Wastequip in Mount Sterling, KY is seeking a Customer Service Representative to serve as the primary contact for customers and to support the sales team in ensuring accurate order management from entry through delivery.

Daily duties include prompt responses to inquiries and quotations, coordinating with production planning and transportation, maintaining order records, and assisting credit and accounting to keep accounts current.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• An associate degree is preferred.
• 2-3 years of sales/customer service experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and ERP systems is expected.
• Fluency in English is required; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and effectively to all customer inquiries, including price quotations, order processing, change requests, warranty claims, and status updates.
• Develop accurate and timely quotations based on the sales strategy and customer information, using the quoting system.
• Maintain and update records for active orders, posting changes and managing scheduling adjustments.
• Act as the main point of contact between customers and internal departments for assigned projects.
• Provide accurate freight quotes for shipments and coordinate with transportation and sales.
• Assist credit and accounting with managing customer accounts, including order entries, credit limits, and holds.
• Resolve product or service issues by addressing customer complaints and documenting cases in Salesforce.

The Customer Service Specialist plays a crucial role in fostering positive customer relationships and ensuring seamless order management for the Wastebuilt division. Serving as the primary point of contact for customers, this role partners closely with the sales team to exceed customer expectations.
