City of Irving is seeking a receptionist to greet visitors, answer calls, and handle information requests. You will enter cases into the computer, perform data entry, and manage filing, scanning, and copying documents. A high school diploma is required, plus two years of experience in a customer service role with high-volume operations.
Strong communication and teamwork are essential, and bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus. Résumé submission is required with the application.
Duties include serving as receptionist, answering the telephone and greeting visitors; handling requests for information and taking complaints by telephone, email, online and at the public counter; entering cases into the computer; typing and completing data entry; filing, scanning and copying documents; and other general clerical tasks. A high school diploma or equivalent and two years of experience using high volume operations standards and general accounting principles in a customer service environment required. Good communication, teamwork and customer service skills are essential. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills beneficial. A résumé must be submitted with application.
PAY GRADE GG11 / FULL PAY RANGE $18.81 - $26.52 PER HOUR
