Job summary

DXP Enterprises, Inc. in Eagan, MN seeks a Customer Service Representative to respond to inquiries, process phone orders, check stock, quote prices, and prepare orders to customer specifications.

Under the Customer Service Manager, you will support the outside sales team with price quotes and sourcing products. This full-time role requires excellent communication, reliability, and the ability to work independently in a mostly office setting with occasional warehouse duties.

Qualifications

• Industrial knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding products and services.

Summary

Under the direction of the Customer Service Manager, the Customer Service Representative will respond to customer inquiries regarding company products and services, process customer phone orders, check availability of stock and shipping dates, quote prices, fill orders to customer specifications, process sales data via computer, and assist the outside sales team by preparing price quotes and sourcing products.

Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative include, but are not limited to:

• Responding to customer inquiries regarding company products and services
• Processing customer orders, following up on backorders & ship directs
• Checking availability of stock, pricing and shipping dates
• Quoting prices, filling orders to customer specifications and processing sales data via computer
• Assisting the outside sales team by preparing price quotes and sourcing products

Qualifications of the Customer Service Representative include, but are not limited to :

• Industrial knowledge is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Should be enthusiastic and able to work independently
• Must have experience performing a majority of the functions
• Prior inside sales but not required
• organization, multi-tasking and customer focus is required
• Regular in-person attendance required
• Normal business hours Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm
