Job summary

DXP Enterprises, Inc. in Dickinson, ND is seeking a Customer Service Representative to handle inquiries, process phone orders, and manage stock availability. You will prepare quotes, support outside sales, and coordinate shipping and receiving in a full-time office environment.

Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative include, but are not limited to:

• Responding to customer inquiries regarding company products and services
• Processing customer phone orders
• Checking availability of stock and shipping dates
• Inventory management
• Quoting prices, filling order to customer specifications and processing sales data via computer
• Assisting the outside sales by preparing price quotes and sourcing products
• Shipping and receiving coordination

Qualifications of the Customer Service Representative include, but are not limited to:

• Experience with Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel and Word
• Excellent communication skills
• Should be attentive and able to work independently
• Prior inside sales/customer service experience
• Industrial distribution experience preferred
• Data entry skills, organization, multi-tasking and customer focus is required
• Must have strong typing skills, spelling and grammar
• Must have acceptable driving record according to company guidelines
