Job summary

DXP is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Commerce City, CO to respond to inquiries, process orders, check stock, quote prices, and support the outside sales team with quotes and sourcing.

Under the supervision of the Customer Service Manager, you’ll work in an office environment during normal business hours. A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required, with 2-3 years in pump/motor or rotating equipment sales experience being a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of knowledge in pump/motor/rotating equipment/industrial products sales
• Experience with Windows-based programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is preferred.
• Enthusiastic, independent worker with data entry and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries about company products and services
• Process customer phone orders
• Check stock availability and shipping dates
• Quote prices and fill orders to customer specifications; process sales data
• Assist outside sales by preparing price quotes and sourcing products

Summary

Under the direction of the Customer Service Manager, the Customer Service Representative will respond to customer inquiries regarding company products and services, process customer phone orders, check availability of stock and shipping dates, quote prices, fill orders to customer specifications, process sales data via computer, and assist the outside sales team by preparing price quotes and sourcing products.

Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative include, but are not limited to:

• Responding to customer inquiries regarding company products and services
• Processing customer phone orders
• Checking availability of stock and shipping dates
• Quoting prices, filling orders to customer specifications and processing sales data via computer
• Assisting the outside sales team by preparing price quotes and sourcing products

Qualifications of the Customer Service Representative include, but are not limited to:

• The ideal candidate would have preferably/but not required 2-3 years of some combination of the following knowledge: pump/motor /rotating equipment/industrial products sales
• Efficient in Windows based programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Experience with SalesForce, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, SAP Ariba, and Citrix P21 would be a plus.
• Should be enthusiastic and able to work independently
• Must have experience performing a majority of the functions
• Willingness to learn and take directions when needed
• Data entry skills, organization, multi-tasking and customer focus is required

• Compensation Range: $50,000-$60,000 Annually DOE

• Shift Time/Overtime: Normal in-person business hours Monday-Friday, 7am - 4pm
