Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Barrington, IL to join a growing logistics team. You will handle high volumes of customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, coordinate schedules, and process orders and payments. This full-time role offers health benefits and a 401(k).

Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm with some shifts available. Eligible applicants will have at least a high school diploma and 1 year in a call center setting.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of call center experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in industries such as banking, insurance, collections, or fraud prevention is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle 100+ daily incoming and outgoing customer communications via phone, email, and chat.

Job Description

The CSR serves as a primary point of contact for customers regarding deliveries, pickups, order status updates, scheduling requests, and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle 100+ daily incoming and outgoing customer communications via phone, email, and chat.


• Coordinate delivery and pickup schedules while providing timely updates and estimated arrival information.


• Assist customers with shipment inquiries, service requests, disputes, and claims.


• Process customer orders and facilitate payment transactions through company-approved systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.


• Minimum of one year of call center experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.


• Experience in industries such as banking, insurance, collections, fraud prevention, call centers, or similar customer-focused roles preferred.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills.


• Comfortable handling a large volume of customer interactions daily.
