Job summary

Gallagher Fluid Seals is seeking a customer-focused Inside Sales/Customer Service representative to be the primary contact for inquiries, process orders, and coordinate with suppliers. You will manage orders in the P21 ERP system and collaborate across Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and Accounting.

The role requires ERP and CRM experience, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to work independently or in a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, inside sales, or related experience.
• Experience in a technical or distribution industry a plus.
• ERP experience, preferably P21.
• CRM experience, preferably Salesforce.
• Strong written and interpersonal communication.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to prioritize and perform under pressure.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Primary customer contact for all inquiries.
• Process requests, source with supplier, quote, review contracts and accept POs.
• Enter orders through P21 following procedures.
• Follow up, monitor and expedite customer orders.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and Accounting.
• Notify management of changes likely to impact the company.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain customer accounts in P21 (ERP).
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Job description

Gallagher Fluid Handling is a distributor of new, used and remanufactured pumps, pump parts and pump packages for various commercial and industrial applications, including oil and gas production, around the world.

Overall Purpose

Through interaction with customers, provide answers to inquiries involving products or services GFH offers. Through this interaction, enhance the level of customer satisfaction and revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities

• Primary customer contact for all customer related inquiries.
• Process customer requests, source/negotiate with supplier, quote the customer and complete contract review and PO acceptance.
• Enter orders through P21 following established procedures.
• Follow up, monitor and expedite customer orders. Assist purchasing with expediting supplier orders by communicating specific details.
• Manage all customer requests utilizing all available resources including Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and Accounting.
• Notify management team of any changes likely to impact the company.
• Utilizing continuous improvement efforts by supporting management initiatives and providing suggestions within the continuous improvement program.
• Manage customer accounts through accurate record keeping. Update and maintain all pertinent customer information on P21 (ERP)
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements
